Getting Started
How do I create a coaching app?
You'll need an invitation to get started. Contact us at support@toolchat.ai to request access.
Can I use my own domain?
Custom domains are coming soon. Currently, apps use ToolChat subdomains.
Can I customize the look and feel?
You can customize your logo and app name. Additional branding options (colors, themes) are coming soon.
AI Chat
How does the AI know my content?
Upload documents to your Knowledge Base. The AI retrieves relevant content when responding to members.
What AI models are available?
ToolChat supports GPT-4, GPT-4 Turbo, and Claude 3 models.
Are AI conversations private?
Yes, member conversations are private and encrypted. They're not shared or used for training.
Billing
How do payments work?
ToolChat uses Stripe for all payment processing. You connect your own Stripe account.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards, debit cards, and other methods supported by Stripe in your region.
How do refunds work?
Issue refunds through your Stripe dashboard. Subscription access updates automatically.
Members
How do I invite members?
Go to Admin → Members → Invite Member. Enter their email and select a tier.
Can members cancel their subscription?
Yes, members can cancel through their account settings. Access continues until the billing period ends.
What happens to member data if they cancel?
Member data is retained. If they resubscribe, their history and progress are preserved.
Technical
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry security best practices.
What's the uptime?
We target 99.9% uptime with global infrastructure.
Do you have an API?
API access is planned for a future release.
Support
How do I get help?
Use the Support feature in Admin → Support to submit tickets. You'll get responses directly in your support inbox.
Can I request features?
Yes! Submit feature requests through Support with category "Feedback".
