Quick Start for Members ​

Welcome! You've been invited to join a coaching app powered by ToolChat. Here's how to get started.

Step 1: Accept Your Invitation ​

You'll receive an email invitation from your coach or organization. Click the link to get started.

The email will contain:

  • The name of the coaching app
  • A link to sign up
  • Information about your membership tier

Step 2: Create Your Account ​

  1. Click the invitation link
  2. Enter your email and create a password
  3. Complete payment (if required for your tier)
  4. You're in! 🎉

Step 3: Explore Your App ​

Once logged in, your sidebar gives you quick access to:

In the header you'll also find Activity (your projects and tasks), Messages (direct messages), and Support (a help bot).

Step 4: Chat with your AI ​

The center of the app is your AI agent — one assistant that handles everything.

  1. Click New chat in the sidebar
  2. Start typing your question or request
  3. Need a specialist? Type / or open Available Skills to launch a skill

Tips for Better AI Conversations ​

Be Specific

Instead of "How do I get fit?", try "I'm a beginner who can work out 3 days per week at home with no equipment. Can you create a workout plan?"

Provide Context

The AI remembers your conversation history, so you can say things like "Based on what we discussed yesterday, what should I focus on today?"

Ask Follow-ups

Don't hesitate to ask "Can you explain that differently?" or "Give me an example" if you need clarification.

Step 5: Access Courses ​

If your membership includes Classroom access:

  1. Click Classroom in the sidebar
  2. Browse available courses
  3. Click a course to start learning
  4. Track your progress as you complete modules

Step 6: Join the Community ​

Connect with fellow members:

  1. Click Community in the sidebar to open the message board
  2. Use Messages in the header for direct messages
  3. Members — see who else is in the community
  4. Calendar — view upcoming events

Community Guidelines ​

  • Be respectful and supportive
  • Share your wins and challenges
  • Help others when you can
  • Keep discussions relevant to the group's focus

Getting Help ​

AI Chat ​

For questions about your coaching topic, ask the AI! It's trained on your coach's methodology and available 24/7.

Support ​

For quick questions, use the Support chat bot in the header. For technical issues or account questions:

  • If your app has a Support page in the sidebar, open it and click New Ticket
  • Otherwise, send your coach a Direct Message — members don't have the Admin menu

FAQ ​

Q: How do I update my payment method? A: Go to your profile (bottom of sidebar) → Account Settings → Billing

Q: Can I cancel my subscription? A: Yes, go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel

Q: How do I change my password? A: Go to your profile → Account Settings → Security
