Managing Your Account
Update your profile, manage your subscription, and control your account settings.
Accessing Settings
Click your profile at the bottom of the sidebar to access account options.
Profile Settings
Updating Your Profile
- Go to your profile settings
- Update your information:
- Name - How you appear to others
- Profile Photo - Your avatar
- Bio - Short description (if available)
Profile Photo
To change your photo:
- Click on your current photo
- Upload a new image
- Crop/adjust if needed
- Save changes
Recommended: Square image, at least 200x200 pixels
Subscription Management
Viewing Your Subscription
In Account Settings, you can see:
- Current tier/plan
- Billing cycle (monthly/yearly)
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file
Changing Your Plan
To upgrade or downgrade:
- Go to Subscription settings
- Click Change Plan
- Select a new tier
- Confirm the change
Upgrades: Charged prorated amount immediately Downgrades: Credit applied to next billing cycle
Updating Payment Method
- Go to Subscription settings
- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter new card details
- Save changes
Cancelling Your Subscription
- Go to Subscription settings
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
After cancelling:
- Access continues until end of billing period
- No future charges
- Can resubscribe anytime
Security
Changing Your Password
- Go to Security settings
- Enter current password
- Enter new password
- Confirm new password
- Save changes
Password tips:
- Use at least 8 characters
- Mix letters, numbers, and symbols
- Don't reuse passwords from other sites
Two-Factor Authentication (Coming Soon)
Add extra security with 2FA.
Notifications
You'll see notification badges in the app when:
- You have unread support ticket replies
- There's new community activity (coming soon)
Data & Privacy
Your Data
You can:
- View data associated with your account
- Request data export
- Request account deletion
Account Deletion
To delete your account:
- Contact Support
- Request account deletion
- Confirm your identity
- Account will be removed
WARNING
Account deletion is permanent. All data including progress, conversations, and community posts will be removed.
Troubleshooting
Can't Log In
- Click "Forgot Password"
- Enter your email
- Check for reset email (including spam)
- Create new password
- Try logging in again
Email Not Recognized
- Verify you're using the right email
- Check if you signed up with a different email
- Contact Support if issues persist
Payment Not Going Through
- Verify card details are correct
- Check expiration date
- Ensure sufficient funds
- Try a different card
- Contact your bank if blocked
Missing Features
If you can't access certain features:
- Check your tier includes the feature
- Try logging out and back in
- Clear browser cache
- Contact Support
Getting Help
For account issues you can't resolve:
- Go to Admin → Support
- Select Support category
- Describe your issue
- Submit ticket
Include:
- What you're trying to do
- What's happening instead
- Any error messages
- Screenshots if helpful
