Using AI Chat

AI Chat is one of the most powerful features available to you. It's like having access to your coach 24/7, powered by artificial intelligence trained on their methodology.

Getting Started

Accessing AI Chat

  1. Click Tools in the sidebar
  2. Select an AI agent
  3. Start typing your question

Your First Conversation

Not sure what to ask? Try:

  • "What should I focus on as a beginner?"
  • "Can you help me set a goal?"
  • "How does [coach name]'s methodology work?"

How AI Chat Works

The AI combines:

  • Powerful language models (like GPT-4 or Claude)
  • Your coach's system instructions (their approach and style)
  • Knowledge base (documents and content from your coach)
  • Your conversation history (context from your chat)

This means the AI can give personalized, relevant responses based on your coach's specific methodology.

Tips for Better Conversations

Be Specific

The more specific your question, the better the response.

Vague: "How do I get fit?"

Specific: "I'm a beginner who can work out 3 days per week at home with no equipment. Can you create a simple workout plan?"

Provide Context

Help the AI understand your situation:

❌ "What should I eat?"

✅ "I'm trying to lose weight, I'm vegetarian, and I have about 30 minutes to prep meals. What are some good lunch ideas?"

Ask Follow-ups

Don't hesitate to dig deeper:

  • "Can you explain that in simpler terms?"
  • "Give me an example of that"
  • "What if [different scenario]?"
  • "Why is that important?"

Use Conversation History

The AI remembers your conversation, so you can:

  • Reference earlier topics: "Going back to what we discussed about nutrition..."
  • Build on answers: "Based on that workout plan, what should I do on rest days?"
  • Track progress: "Last week I told you about [X], here's an update..."

Conversation Features

Starting New Conversations

Click New Chat to start fresh. Use this when:

  • Changing topics significantly
  • Wanting a clean slate
  • Starting a new session

Viewing History

Your previous conversations are saved. Access them from the sidebar to:

  • Continue past discussions
  • Reference old advice
  • Review previous plans

Sending Images

You can send images to the AI (if supported):

  1. Click the attachment icon
  2. Select an image
  3. Add optional text
  4. Send

Use this for:

  • Form checks (exercise photos)
  • Meal photos for feedback
  • Progress photos
  • Screenshots of questions

What the AI Can Help With

Great for:

  • Answering questions about your coach's methodology
  • Creating plans and routines
  • Explaining concepts
  • Brainstorming ideas
  • Motivation and mindset support
  • Troubleshooting common issues

⚠️ Use caution for:

  • Medical advice (always consult a doctor)
  • Legal or financial advice
  • Emergency situations
  • Topics outside your coach's expertise

Not designed for:

  • Diagnosing medical conditions
  • Replacing professional healthcare
  • Real-time emergencies

Example Conversations

Fitness Coaching

You: I've been doing the beginner program for 4 weeks. 
     Should I move to intermediate?

AI: Great job completing 4 weeks! Before moving up, let's check:
    1. Can you complete all exercises with good form?
    2. Are the last 2 reps challenging but doable?
    3. Have you been consistent (3+ sessions/week)?
    
    If yes to all three, you're ready to progress! 
    Would you like me to outline the intermediate program?

Business Coaching

You: I'm struggling to find my first 10 customers.

AI: Finding your first customers is about direct outreach and 
    validation. Here's a framework:
    
    1. List 50 people who might benefit from your product
    2. Reach out personally to each one
    3. Offer free trials or discounts for feedback
    4. Ask every customer for referrals

Troubleshooting

AI Doesn't Understand

Try:

  • Rephrasing your question
  • Breaking it into smaller parts
  • Providing more context
  • Starting a new conversation

Response Seems Off

The AI isn't perfect. If a response seems wrong:

  • Ask for clarification
  • Rephrase your question
  • Check with your coach directly if unsure

Conversation Feels "Off Track"

Start a new conversation to reset context.

Privacy

Your conversations are:

  • Private to you
  • Stored securely
  • Not shared with other members
  • Used only to provide context within your chats
