Chatting with Your AI
Beta Feature
AI chat is in active development. Some capabilities like artifacts, tools, and integrations may not work as expected. We're continuously improving the experience.
Your AI agent is the center of the app. It's like having your coach available 24/7 — trained on their methodology, aware of your context, and able to build real things for you (documents, plans, even web pages). This page covers how to get the most out of it.
Starting a chat
- Click New chat in the sidebar
- Start typing, or pick a conversation starter
That's it — you're talking to your coach's agent. Your past conversations are saved under History in the sidebar so you can pick up where you left off.
One agent, not many
You don't need to choose the "right bot." There's one main agent. When your request calls for a specialist — building an offer, writing emails, planning a launch — the agent switches into the matching skill automatically, or you can launch one yourself (see Skills & Game Plans).
Choosing a tool (if more than one is available)
Some apps publish more than one agent or "tool." When you start a New chat, a Select a Tool menu lets you choose. If a tool shows a lock, it's Available on Upgrade — it's part of a higher tier. Most members simply use the default agent.
You don't build your own agent
You chat with the agent your coach has set up and trained — creating your own AI agent isn't a member feature. You shape how it helps you through Memories, not by configuring the agent itself.
How the agent works
Each answer is shaped by:
- A powerful language model (such as GPT or Claude)
- Your coach's instructions — their approach and voice
- The knowledge base — your coach's documents, videos, and notes, searched automatically
- The active skill — a specialist mode, when one is running
- Your memories — business context you've saved
- Your conversation history — so it remembers the thread
You don't have to tell it to "search the docs" or pick a knowledge source — it handles that for you.
Skills (specialist modes)
When a task needs a specialist, the agent uses a skill. You'll see a small banner on the agent's replies showing which skill is active.
You can launch a skill yourself in two ways:
- Available Skills — a button in the chat lists the skills your tier can use
- Slash command — type
/to open a quick picker
Some skills run as Game Plans — guided, multi-step workflows with a progress panel beside the chat. Full details: Skills & Game Plans.
Artifacts
When the agent creates something substantial — a document, a plan, code, or a web component — it appears as an artifact in a side panel.
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Document | Plans, guides, outlines, offers |
| Code | Scripts, snippets |
| HTML | Pages, forms |
| React | Calculators, interactive tools |
In the artifact panel you can read, edit, iterate, and download. Documents you generate are also saved under Documents for later — see Memories & Documents.
Building a landing page?
If you ask for a landing page, the agent can hand off to the full Page Builder, where you get a live preview and a publish button.
Sending files
You can attach files to a message:
| File type | What happens |
|---|---|
| Images | The AI looks at the image and responds to what it sees |
| PDFs | Text is extracted and used as context |
| Audio | Automatically transcribed, then read as text |
| Documents (.docx) | Text is extracted and used as context |
Click the attach button or drag-and-drop. Files show a progress ring while uploading and appear as chips below the compose bar. Use this for form checks, screenshots, voice notes, or any document you want the AI to work from.
Integrations & tools
Click Integrations in the chat to open the Capabilities panel, where you can see the tools the agent can use and connect any available third-party services (if your coach has enabled them). Connected tools let the agent take actions beyond chat.
Tips for better conversations
Be specific
❌ "How do I get fit?" ✅ "I'm a beginner who can train 3 days a week at home with no equipment. Build me a simple plan."
Provide context
❌ "What should I post?" ✅ "I sell a 6-week course to first-time founders. Give me 5 LinkedIn post ideas for this week."
Ask follow-ups
The agent remembers the thread, so you can say:
- "Explain that more simply."
- "Give me an example."
- "Based on that plan, what should I do first?"
Start fresh when you switch topics
Use New chat for a clean slate when you move to something unrelated — it keeps each conversation focused.
What the AI is great for — and not
✅ Great for: questions about your coach's methodology, creating plans and documents, brainstorming, building pages, organizing projects, motivation and accountability.
⚠️ Use caution for: medical, legal, or financial advice — always consult a professional.
❌ Not for: diagnosing conditions, emergencies, or replacing professional care.
Troubleshooting
The AI didn't understand — rephrase, break the request into parts, or add context.
A response seems off — ask for clarification or rephrase. If it persists, check with your coach.
It feels off-track — start a New chat to reset the context.
Privacy
Your conversations are private to you, stored securely, and never shared with other members. They're only used to provide context within your own chats.
