Custom Domain

Use your own domain instead of the default yourslug.toolchat.ai:

  • Full white-label experience
  • SSL certificate included automatically
  • Custom social sharing previews

See Custom Domains for setup instructions.

Social Sharing (OG Tags)

When your app is shared on social media, it displays:

  • Your organization name
  • Your logo
  • Custom description

This is automatically configured when you set up your branding. With a custom domain, social shares look fully branded with no ToolChat references.

Branding Best Practices

Logo Tips

  1. Use a transparent background for PNG logos
  2. Keep it simple - Complex logos don't scale well
  3. Test in dark mode - Make sure your logo is visible
  4. Use vector (SVG) when possible for best quality

Naming Tips

  1. Be descriptive - Members should understand what your app offers
  2. Keep it short - Long names get truncated in some views
  3. Be consistent - Use the same name across all platforms

Brand Consistency

Even with limited customization, you can maintain brand consistency:

  • Use your brand voice in AI agent prompts
  • Match your course content styling to your brand
  • Use consistent terminology across all content
  • Include your brand values in community guidelines
