Member Onboarding
Beta Feature
Onboarding checklists are in active development.
Give new members a guided first-run experience with a per-tier onboarding checklist — a short list of steps that points them at the most valuable parts of your app and tracks their progress.
Where to configure it
Go to Admin → Tiers and open the Onboarding tab. Each tier gets its own checklist, so a Pro member can be welcomed differently than a Starter member.
Two different "onboarding" screens
Admin → Tiers → Onboarding is the member checklist editor (what your members see). The separate Admin → Onboarding page is your own owner setup "War Room" for getting your platform live — it's not the member checklist.
Checklist settings
For each tier you can set:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | The heading members see (e.g., "Get started") |
| Enable | Turn the checklist on or off for this tier |
| Progress bar | Show members how far along they are |
Steps
Add ordered steps, each with an icon and a destination. Step link types include:
- Page — a published page
- Course / Module / Lesson — jump into Classroom content
- Agent — open a chat with the agent
- Group chat — a community group
- Event — a calendar event
- External URL — any link
- Action only — a step with no link (informational / checkbox)
Copy between tiers
Built a great checklist for one tier? Use copy from another tier to reuse it as a starting point instead of rebuilding it.
A good onboarding flow
- Say hello — open a chat with the agent and try a conversation starter
- Try a skill — point them at your flagship skill or Game Plan
- Watch the welcome — link a key course lesson
- Join the community — drop them into a group chat or the board
- Book something — link an upcoming event
Tracking
The editor shows basic analytics on how many members complete or dismiss the checklist, so you can refine which steps actually move people to activation.
